Exmoor is an enchanting landscape, full of ancient history, hilly moorland, beautiful woodlands and dramatic coastline. It comprises an area of 690 square kilometres, so there is more than enough to explore. Key local highlights are the Iron Age trapper bridge Tarr Steps, the delightful towns of Lynton and Lynmouth and adjacent Valley of the Rocks, which have the highest sea cliffs in England, as well as the quant towns of North Devon such as Ilfracombe, where you can take a boat trip to Lundy Island.
